Membership to the Hungerford Hares

Annual Membership is due on the 1st June each year. At present it is only £5.00 but will increase slightly when the new Rugby Club facilities become available. Visitors, guests, and prospective new members are most welcome to run with us for a number of weeks before we expect them to join up formally.

Club Affiliation

Towards the end of last year the Club became affiliated to the England Athletics which provides an automatic membership to the UK Athletics, your region, national organisations such as the English Cross Country, English Road Running, as well as links to County, Territorial and Fell Running Associations. The Governing bodies manage and develop a co-ordinated and regulated sport, designed to promote standards of delivery of events that are safe and fair for all participants.

Regional staff are employed to assist club development initatives and will work with all affiliated clubs seeking their support.

UK Athletics support all affiliated organisations with the provision of Public liability Insurance - full details can be obtained.

Members are now required to affiliate individually if they want the benefit of race entry discounts. This is £5.00 and due in before the end of May 2008. Please speak to Mandy for more information.
